📄 Package Overview

Baghdad, Najaf and Karbala are among the most significant Ziyarat destinations in Iraq. In Baghdad, pilgrims can visit Al-Kadhimiya, the shrines of Imam Musa al-Kadhim and Imam Muhammad al-Jawad, and the shrine of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani. Najaf is home to the revered shrine of Imam Ali, along with sites associated with Prophets Hud and Salih. In Karbala, pilgrims visit the shrines of Imam Hussain and Hazrat Abbas, along with the graves of devoted companions such as Habib ibn Madhahir. These sacred cities offer a deeply spiritual journey through Islamic history and heritage.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions (Ziyarat FAQs)

Essential answers regarding Ziyarat bookings, visa, hotels, and services.

Q. What is Ihram in Umrah?

Ihram is a sacred state that every pilgrim enters before performing Umrah. Men wear two white unstitched cloths, while women wear modest Islamic clothing.

Q. Can women perform Hajj alone?

Women may perform Hajj according to the latest Saudi regulations and eligibility requirements. Check the current guidelines before booking.

Q. Can I break my fast with Zamzam water?

Yes. Many pilgrims begin Iftar by drinking Zamzam water and eating dates before offering the Maghrib prayer.

Q. How can I check the status of my Saudi Visa?

You can check your Saudi visa status through the official Saudi visa portals or by contacting your authorized travel agency.

Q. Why is the last Ashra of Ramadan popular for Umrah?

The last 10 days of Ramadan are considered the most blessed. Many pilgrims visit during this period to increase their worship and search for Laylatul Qadr.

Q. Can Hajj or Umrah be performed on behalf of someone else?

Yes. Hajj and Umrah can be performed on behalf of another person in certain situations. This is generally allowed for someone who has passed away or is permanently unable to perform the pilgrimage due to old age or a serious illness.

A well-known Hadith mentions that a woman asked Prophet Muhammad (???) if she could perform Hajj on behalf of her elderly father, who was too weak to travel. The Prophet (???) gave her permission, showing that performing Hajj or Umrah for someone who is genuinely unable to do so is permissible in Islam.

If you are planning Hajj or Umrah on behalf of a loved one, Alif Hajj and Umrah Services, Nagpur, India can guide you through the process and help you choose the right pilgrimage package.

Q. Which days of Ramadan are the busiest for Umrah?

The last 10 nights of Ramadan, especially the odd nights, are the busiest because many pilgrims hope to worship during Laylatul Qadr (The Night of Decree).

Q. What are the main pillars (Arkan) of Umrah?

The two main pillars of Umrah are Tawaf (circling the Holy Kaaba seven times) and Sa'i (walking between Safa and Marwah seven times). These rituals are essential for completing your Umrah.

Q. Can I enter Saudi Arabia through any airport?

Yes. Travelers with a valid Saudi visa can usually arrive through any approved international airport, depending on their visa type and travel itinerary.

Q. What is Tawaf, and can it be performed on behalf of someone else?

Tawaf is an important act of worship in Hajj and Umrah, where pilgrims walk around the Holy Kaaba in Masjid Al-Haram, Makkah, seven times in an anti-clockwise direction. It is a beautiful way to express love, devotion, and obedience to Allah.

If a person is physically unable to perform Tawaf due to illness, disability, or old age, they may perform it with assistance, such as using a wheelchair if possible. However, Tawaf cannot be performed independently on behalf of another living person. If Tawaf is part of a valid Hajj or Umrah performed on behalf of someone who has passed away or is permanently unable to perform the pilgrimage, it is included within that Hajj or Umrah.

The Prophet Muhammad (???) said that whoever performs Tawaf around the Kaaba seven times and offers two Rak'ahs of prayer afterward receives a great reward. Every step brings blessings, sins are forgiven, and the person's rank is raised by Allah.
